Looking into the genre. . .

Carlaina and myself began to look at a few different trailers and film magazines for insperation for our coursework.

These are the posters that we produced;

 

These contain the basic information of our ideas and we will use them as a basis of our thoughts in the future. Although I am going to look at some more trailers to give myself a wider knowledge of the horror genre.

Teaser Trailers & Documentaries

In lesson I analysed 4 'YouTube' videos, 2 being Documentaries and 2 being Teaser Trailers, when doing this I produced 2 mind maps on what I thought the main features of the two texts were. Underneath the 'YouTube' videos I have added links to websites that are relevant to the videos for future reference.

New year, new project.

This is my group :)

I am now starting my A2 project in Media Studies, for this project I am working with Carlaina Breese as we achieved high grades on our practical project last year. After looking at all the we options  have decided to make the teaser trailer along with the magazine front cover and a website home page.

We have already done some research on what genre we would like to do and this is Horror as we think that we will be able to make a successful teaser trailer in this genre as we think we have seen enough horror films to give us inspiration and it is a completely different genre to what we did last year, so it would be nice to have the challenge.
