The Strangers.

This image is from the horror film 'The Strangers', the type of shot used is a long shot from an eye level view. I think they used a long shot to show the murderer in the back ground and the audience know something the character doesn't.The villan is also looking at the audience/the character giving it a voyeristic feel. The lighting the main part of the scene where the woman is standing is quite bright and well lit, constrasting to the dark shadow that the villan is standing it - connotating the different personalities to the audience.
